BERNARDO COLLEGE ACADEMIC INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM DATA PRIVACY NOTICE AND CONSENT
Bernardo College requires personal information directly identifying an individual to provide high-quality educational services. The school is committed to excellence and integrity and will collect, modify, document, utilize, consolidate, disclose, or use personal information in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other applicable laws and regulations.
Bernardo College collects and processes data related solely to application and enrollment. The BC Academic Information Management System is accessible only to authorized school personnel. Private information is inputted and saved in a secure system and database to ensure the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of personal data and to safeguard personal data from any unintended or unauthorized removal, alteration, or disclosure, as well as unauthorized processing.
When an individual uses this web page and shares their sensitive personal information or data, they are explicitly agreeing to allow the information to be collected, used, updated, and transferred through this page. The personal information of the individual will be combined, disclosed, or processed in accordance with the Privacy Statement of this page. Furthermore, Bernardo College requires that the individual confirms the accuracy of the data submitted. The school also uses the data to prevent fraudulent or illegal activities.

Moreover, the school will inform individuals of changes through available communication channels. Changes will not affect any data collected from individuals in the past without their consent, except when required by law. Lastly, the school will not disclose personal information without permission and will retain information for ten years to effectively manage data.

Furthermore, I affirm and recognize my rights to be informed, object to processing, accessing, and rectifying my personal data, and be indemnified in the event of damages in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its corresponding Implementing Rules and Regulations."
